The SOCATOTS© Philosophy
Childhood is an exciting time for kids gaining control of their body, for increasing in strength, speed, power, co-ordination and balance. SOCATOTS© gives children the opportunity to experience fun, challenge and satisfaction whilst developing their physical and communication skills in a wholly positive environment with trained, experienced staff.
The Concept and Aims of SOCATOTS©
SOCATOTS© is the first football specific play programme for pre-school children. It is a unique fun based concept aimed at giving children their very first start with a football. Our main aim is to help encourage all aspects of mental and physical development using football as a medium. All SOCATOTS© equipment is specially designed for children to develop physical skills of agility balance and co-ordination. The programme is structured to develop each child’s positive personality traits, building confidence and self esteem. Every activity is intended to improve motor skills and more importantly they are designed TO BE FUN!!
Your Child’s Safety
SOCATOTS© is committed to ensuring that all children who attend sessions are able to do so in a safe and enjoyable environment. Your SOCATOTS© coach has undergone extensive training including child protection, health and safety, first aid and has been checked and cleared by the Criminal Record Bureau.
The Sessions
Each session features;

· Great fun and a playful yet educational atmosphere
The sessions are split into the following groups, dependent on the age of your child.
Phase 2 (walkers to age 2 ½)
This class is designed for children who can walk confidently. With parental participation the child is introduced to elementary football skills through a variety of fun activities using SOCATOTS© equipment. Phase 2 sessions encourage and develop children’s physical skills of co-ordination, balance and dexterity.
Phase 3 (age 2 ½ -5 years)
The activities for this age group will seek to build upon the framework of basic ball control and co-ordination. Children will learn to follow more complex instructions and be introduced to more challenging skills. Children will also begin to learn juggling, throwing and catching, dribbling and balancing skills.
In addition to the above children are consistently encourages to use good manners, team work and the principles of taking turns and sharing.
Our area covers Skipton, Keighley, Crosshills, Glusburn, Sutton, Silsden and surrounding areas in the Craven District. We also cover the following areas in Pendle East Lancashire, Colne, Nelson, Trawden, Burnley, Laneshawbridge, Barrowford, Barnoldswick, Earby and surrounding areas.
