Hello and welcome to the Socatots website for the area of Edinburgh and East Lothian.

The regional co-ordinator for the above area is Jamie Smith, Jamie has been involved in football for many years, playing at Senior and Semi Professional level and also helping Coaching local amature clubs training children of all ages.

Jamie has also received SFA certifcatation and attended various SFA football coaching courses up to children's licence and youth award level.

Jamie's experience with Socatots Started by taking his own daughters along to Saturday classes and then went on to coach for them before taking over the franchise.

"SOCATOTS is a great way to spend time with your children, you have 40 minutes where you spend with you child one to one and play with them and also watch them grow and learn new skills each class you go to - not just football skills but also social and everyday skills like counting and learning colours"

SOCATOTS is the world's first Soccer-Specific play programme for pre-school children. A unique fun based concept aimed at giving children their very first start with the ball.

At present between 150 -200 children attend weekly the Socatots sessions in the Edinburgh and East Lothian area and this number is increasing day by day. Throughout the forthcoming years we will be looking to provide new venues in the Edinburgh and East Lothian area so that all children in the area have a near by venue they can attend with their parents to improve their football skills. Socatots have also introduced new kids parties for children 3-5 years old.
